He claims that it's because he's exhausted from helping Rose with her experiments, but there seems to be some other, hidden reason.

More Serious Than I Thought

Thanks! That looked like hard work. Meow. Well. We didn't kill all the baby gremlins.

It seems that a few of them got away to a distant edge of time-space. And they seem to have grown up. They're probably staying somewhere in the Magic Library of Night Shadow in another time and space.

Scared the Hell Out of Me

Ah, I won't send you after them. Because of the distortion, time's passed more quickly for them. They're too strong for us to fight by now. Hm, maybe I should just call them Gremlins, since they're not babies any more.

In fact, if they enter another realm of time-space, we don't have to worry about them. As long as they don't come across to our world, they won't do us any harm.

Unless someone asks you to hunt them for their eyes (which I hear are useful for seeing through the dimensions), we're better off just leaving them alone. Why don't we mend the damage the baby gremlins made in time and space? Meow.

Hm, I interrupted the flow of time more than I needed to. If I can penetrate the wall, I should be able to find and take care of any damage we did. The Watcher's Lenses and Servants, Stewards, and Lord Stewards at Bran Castle: 2F carry should be good enough.

Ah, I'm not saying I'm totally responsible for the failures of Rose's experiment. But it does look like there may have been some teensy-weensy defects in the materials and items that I made for her. I just noticed them thanks to these lenses. I should have picked up on them sooner. Meow. Meow.

I'm a Little Sorry

Now that I think about it, it took me a long time to help with the experiment because there's been something interfering with my own abilities, too. Have you heard about this? Lately, there's been this strange energy spreading out into specific areas in the world. It must have something to do with that.

I kind of felt it, but I guess I overworked myself too much. Oh well. There won't be any new experiments for a while, and I already cleaned up our mess, so I don't see any problems here. I do feel a little sorry that I may have affected Rose in some way.
