1. Test of Courage[]
Greetings, adventurer. I am Princess Hwa Man of Southern China, the commander at the Mumbai Advance Base. I have heard much about you from Beast Trainer Nari, an apprentice beast trainer I dispatched to New Delhi. Thank you so much for your interest in the difficulties of the South. Allow me to be frank. From Beast Trainer Nari's reports, I believe you are indeed an honorable individual. Although you have passed all the tests required to make it this far, it does not change the fact that you are still a stranger to us. My people are fiercely loyal to each other and it will be a challenge to persuade them to trust you. If you desire to make these people your allies, you must show them that you are much more than a competent Beast Trainer. If you cannot accomplish this, then they will never accept you. However, you need not worry. I will gladly offer you my assistance.

Sri Lanka is an island located just south of here, populated by numerous Tropical Lions. Lions, the kings of all beasts, are typically one of the most difficult challenges for Beast Trainers. If you manage to survive against them, you will have proven yourself courageous. Kill Tropical Lions and bring twenty of their Lion Whiskers to me. May good fortune smile upon your endeavors!

2. Test of Wisdom[]

Kyushu, in East Asia, is the home of a particular type of beast called the White Fox. Both devious and wily, its intelligence is unmatched. If you wish to find these White Foxes, simply travel west from Hiroshima. Your mission is to slay those cunning White Foxes and bring me their Fox Ears. Only then shall I acknowledge you.

3. Test of Power[]
Even if one possesses ample courage and wisdom, beasts will refuse to obey anyone less powerful than they are. Additionally, once a beast in under control, there is still a chance that it will simply wait for the right moment to kill its master. Remember, one can never be to cautious. That is why it is crucial that you posses enough power to conquer your beasts at any time.

You must find a way to gain more strength if you want to have any hope of controlling beasts. I will acknowledge your power if you can slay the Fire Bears that reside deep in the mountains of East Asia. Fire Bears can be found in the Land of Power which can be reached by traveling northeast from Beijing. Please bring me their Bear Paws.

4. Test of Pride[]

This characteristic can be learned from the White Tigers that reside deep in the mountains of East Asia. If you travel northeast from Beijing, you will reach the Valley of Pride. You must kill the White Tigers living there and bring me White Tiger Molars as proof of your pride.

5. Dark Harpies' Claws[]
Since you have successfully completed this rite of passage, we are ready to accept you as an ally of the South. Now I can finally tell you the truth behind the wars that we fight. You may already know that my father is Meng Huo, the King of Southern China. After he was defeated by the Han, everyone believed that he entrusted me with his power... But that is simply not true. Not long before the war against the Han started, my father mysteriously disappeared. Because of this devastating blow to the South, the Han easily seized this opportunity to attack us. Those merciless devils kidnapped my mother and slaughtered so many beast trainers that only a few managed to escape. After those horrific events, we drifted nomadically around East Asia, desperately searching for a place to create a settlement. In our travels, we met Prithvi Narayan, a former ruler of this region who was defeated and removed from power. We eventually made a deal with him. If we worked to cast out the monsters in Mohenjodaro, he would assist us to reclaim our homeland. That is the reason why I set up this advance base here. We are ready to go to war against these devils and risk everything. Thank you for listening to this long story. Please grant me this first favor that I ask of you. Mohenjodaro Graveyard is cursed. According to legends, the walls between our world and hell are thin there. Your mission is to slay the devils that have taken up residence there.

In the deepest parts of Naraka's Well, you will find Naraka, the leader of all devils. If you could defeat Naraka, it just might allow us to win the battle.
