Title
A title is a decorative prefix applied to a main character's name. Titles must be acquired before they can be used. Although a player may acquire many titles, each title may only be applied one at a time. Most titles are obtained by completing quests. An additional title may be awarded for obtaining sufficient fame.

Quest titles

Quest titles are obtained by completing quests obtainable from one of four title quest NPCs, located Northeast of Athens named [Calliope], [Kleio], [Pandora] and [Thalia]. Each title requires the completion of only one quest objective, though the requirements are typically very high, requiring persistence to complete.
Since the patch on December 16th, 2008, most quest titles imbue one or more effects on a player's party when applied. The effects may increase one or more of four attributes, attack power, physical defense, experience and workload, by varying amounts for between 20 to 80 minutes. Once a title's effects have expired, its effects cannot be gained again until the daily server reset has elapsed. Some quest titles are purely decorative and have no effect.
A full list of titles, their effects, how long they persist for (in minutes) and the NPC that provides the quest to obtain the title, are shown in the following table. Title quests with additional requirements to unlock them are noted with an asterisk. These requirements could be level-based or another quest that you must have completed before you can see the quest listed at the NPC.

Fame titlesEdit
A fame title may be awarded to players that meet the criteria of one of the fame brackets shown in the following table. For players that acquire fame in excess of 20,000 points, a title will not be awarded unless that player's fame total is also ranked as one of the top 50 fame scores on their server.
