Will is a game mechanic designed to limit the frequency of certain player actions. Although will is expressed as a percentage, the maximum amount of will a player can have is dependent upon a players level, and ranges between 100-150%. Will may be spent on restricted actions as long as sufficient will is available. Whilst will remains below its maximum value, it gradually recharges over time at a rate of 1% per 6 seconds

It takes 1 minute to gain 10% Will.

Restricted actions[]

The actions shown in the following table require a certain amount of will to perform.

Action Description Will
Sharing Monster Info Sharing craft skills or monster information. 50%
Teleporting Teleporting by any means, including using the travel agency. 20-80%
Reading Books Experience and crafting books require will, others do not. 10%
Exchanging mercenaries Storing and retrieving mercenaries from the mercenary room both in and out of combat. 5%
Eating food All crafted food consumes will, but some special food does not. 1-10%

Maximum value[]

Will scales with a player's Main Character level. For levels between 50 to 100, the maximum will value increases at every other level by 1%, as shown in the table below, up to a maximum Will of 150%. Also shown is the time it takes for will to reach its maximum value when starting from zero, in minutes. EDIT: Player level 130 has 150% max will and takes 14 minutes for full.
